Learning, Adapting and Looking Ahead at the 2026 MAR Conference

The 2026 Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® Conference in Falmouth brought real estate professionals together for an engaging experience centered on education, innovation and preparation for the future of the industry.

The conference began with “AI Now and Next: Getting Ready for the Future of AI,” presented by Steve Brown. The session explored the rapidly evolving role of artificial intelligence, what today’s technology can accomplish and how professionals can begin preparing for what may come next. As AI continues to influence business, marketing and client service, the presentation encouraged attendees to approach these changes with curiosity and a willingness to adapt.

Dr. Lawrence Yun followed with “Market Outlook for 2027 and Beyond,” offering a forward-looking perspective on the housing market and the economic factors expected to influence real estate in the coming years. The session provided valuable context for professionals navigating a market that continues to evolve.

In “Building Brand You: Thriving in Any Economy,” Egypt Sherrod focused on the importance of developing a strong and authentic personal brand. Her presentation highlighted how consistency, purpose and meaningful relationships can help real estate professionals remain recognizable and valuable to their clients, regardless of changing market conditions.

Tyler Mount closed out the educational sessions with “The Power of Fu*king Up,” an energetic and refreshingly honest conversation about mistakes, resilience and growth. The presentation served as a reminder that setbacks are often an important part of building confidence, gaining experience and achieving long-term success.

The evening concluded with a Cape Cod-style clambake, offering attendees an opportunity to relax, connect and continue conversations from throughout the day.

The following morning began with a breakfast buffet before returning to the classroom for additional education. The MAR Legal Team provided timely legal updates and insight from the Legal Hotline, helping REALTORS® better understand current issues affecting their work and their clients.

The conference concluded with “Real Estate Advertising Compliance and the Law,” presented by Kimberly Allard. The course provided an important review of advertising responsibilities and the legal standards Massachusetts real estate professionals must consider when marketing themselves, their services and their listings.

A strong Lamacchia Realty turnout added to the experience, while the opportunity to learn alongside REALTORS® from across Massachusetts reinforced the value of being part of a larger professional community.

From emerging technology and market forecasts to branding, resilience and legal compliance, the MAR Conference offered relevant education that can be carried directly into everyday real estate practice. It was a valuable opportunity to stay informed, build connections and return to work with new ideas and a renewed commitment to serving clients at the highest level.

Work hard. Have fun. Surround yourself with great people.
