Home Sales Up 36.5% & Prices Up 19.9%
The Worcester market saw a 31.8% increase in sales over the first half of 2020.  Sales moved from 833 to 1,098.

Prices also increased from $271,190 in the first half of 2020 up 17.9% to $319,958.

 These metrics include single families, condos, and multi-families.  The categorical breakdowns are listed in the infographic above.
Listed Homes
A 25.4% increase in the number of listings brought the first half of 2021 to 1,292 compared to 1,030 last year this time.
Pending Homes
The number of contracts accepted on homes increased 24.5% year over year, now at 1,209 over 971 last year.
2021 Outlook
Consistent with Massachusetts market trends, sales and prices increased year over year in Worcester. Significant increases in these numbers are the result of buyer and seller motivation and last year’s drop in performance due to the pandemic. 2021 going to likely be the biggest year yet for the number of sales statewide.
