On June 16, 2025, hundreds of REALTORS® from across Massachusetts gathered at the State House in Boston for the annual REALTOR® Day on Beacon Hill. Participants came together to advocate for important real estate issues; we attending a welcoming session then diversified and meet directly with state legislators. State Senator Michael Moore, for example, met with REALTORS® from his Central Massachusetts district during the event, underscoring the value of these face-to-face discussions. Key advocacy priorities included promoting homeownership and protecting private property rights, expanding fair-housing and diversity education for real estate licensees, and supporting a proposed law to require written real estate service agreements to enhance transparency and consumer protection in transactions.
Thank you to the REALTOR® Association of Central Massachusetts (RACM) for arranging complimentary bus transportation and lunch for its members. After the formal program, the Young Professionals Network (YPN) hosted a post-event social at The Dubliner Irish Pub in Boston, giving attendees an opportunity to network and unwind after a productive day at the State House. Each element of the day, from the legislative meetings to the supportive camaraderie, contributed to a successful advocacy event and highlighted REALTORS® commitment to homeownership and private property rights in the Commonwealth.
